  13. This is a maintenance update which addresses some recently discovered bugs and includes some minor new features.
  14.  
  15. Atlas Changes:
  16. - Updated Time Zone information for west and central Indonesia.
  17. - Updated Time Zone information for some islands of Kiribati.
  18. - Updated Daylight Saving Time (Summer Time) information for Brazil.
  19. - Corrected spelling of Osh, Kyrgyzstan.
  20. - Added data for East Timor.

  22. If you have cities that you've added to your existing Atlas you have two options for transferring them to the new Atlas.

  24. You can re-enter them in the new Atlas, or...
  25.  
  26. A bit of explanation is needed for this procedure... When you drag a city from the Atlas to another location (such as the
  27. Events window or a clock), you are making a copy of the city in the Atlas. If you then change the original Atlas entry,
  28. no change is made in the city you previously dragged to another place.
  29.  
  30. With this in mind, if you have added new cities to your old Atlas and placed them in a clock or the Events window, you
  31. can throw away your old Atlas and use the new one. Once this has been done you can add these cities back into the new
  32. Atlas by dragging them to the "Add" button at the bottom of the Atlas window.

  34. A future version of Time Palette will make this process much smoother.

  37. New Features:
  38. - Added Spanish and German language support.
  39. - Added an option to show the day of the week in the digital clocks.
  40. - Increased the maximum number of clocks from 10 to 24.
  41. - Clarified the license regarding the use of maps generated by Time Palette. Only commercial use requires permission.
  42.    Web use requires a link. Previous versions were worded so as to require permission for any "public" use.

  44. Bug Fixes:
  45. - When adding a new city to the Atlas, the Daylight Saving Time box is now initially checked as it should be.
  46.  
  47. - Fixed a bug where the Atlas window's city list was not properly re-drawn when it had been scrolled past the top-most
  48.    city in the found set and was subsequently expanded past the bottom-most city in the found set.

  50. - Fixed a conflict with Suitcase 8.2 (and possibly other versions of Suitcase) that would cause Time Palette to continue
  51.    asking for a serial number even after the software was registered.
  52.  
  53. - Fixed a bug where the Time Palette or Map Inspector windows could be deactivated after selecting a background color
  54.    for a digital clock. This only occurred if there were no standard windows open, and was only a cosmetic bug.

  56. - Fixed a bug where, when choosing to show/hide zone names, and seconds were not shown, the digital clock display
  57.    would not update until the next time the minutes changed.

  59. - If the clock strip was positioned so that several clocks on the left side were off the screen, it was possible, by using
  60.    the clock menu, to display fewer clocks. This could result in the clock window ending up completely off the screen.
  61.    The clock window will now reposition itself.
  62.  
  63. - There have been two cases of Time Palette claiming that a serial number was already in use on the network, when in
  64.    fact there was not. Further measures to eliminate this bug have been taken, but since this happens rarely, there is a
  65.    chance it may still occur. Please let me know if this affects you.

  68. Time Palette's documentation is stored in Adobe Acrobat format. You will need Acrobat Reader to view this file. If you do not already have Acrobat Reader, it can be downloaded from Adobe's website at http://www.adobe.com.

  89. Registered users will be notified of future releases. Minor releases (bug-fixes and minor feature enhancements) will be made available for a small fee to cover mailing, or can be downloaded from online sources. Major releases will be made available for a reduced fee to be determined when such versions become available.

The best options for international registration are cash, International Postal Money Orders and foreign drafts. All non-cash items must be denominated in US Dollars. Most people outside of the U.S. have registered with cash. If you choose to send cash, I would prefer that it be in your local currency, but you may send US Dollars if you wish. Please round any foreign amounts to the nearest value that can be paid entirely in paper notes. Remember to carefully wrap the cash so that it is not visible in the envelope.
